I met my photography meetup group this past Thursday with the task of photographing the holiday lights on our downtown green. It was one cold night, about 20 degrees and I almost didn’t go, but it was an opportunity to get out and shoot some stuff at night. It was interesting to see how the different setting affected the lights, the higher the F-Stop the greater the “star” effect had on the lights. I also realized just how bad my $29.99 tripod is and how important it is to get a good one, I think this will be my next investment. Night photography is definitely cool and I look forward to doing it some more. These are some of the shots I took.
